OATLALI/OALI principles


Now I will list OATLALI principles, just like any board game, it has it's one and they are much simpler with the principles of every chess game, since it is oa chess variant.
    
                 OATLALI PRINCIPLES

1. Try to develop your pieces quickly.
2. Develop your horse towards the centre,
    and don't push it in enemy territory 
    without a backup.
3. Think before you act, no unnecessary 
     move, always act with purpose.
4. Make sure you the one who is in control
     of the centre.
5. Be very careful of the order you move          your pieces.
6. Try to move the stronger pieces to               control important positions on the               board as early as possible.
7. Never move the same piece too many         times, you will lose your rhythm.
8. Play aggressive, yet calculate and                always position.
9. Always target your opponent's stronger      pieces.
10. Even if it's a pawn, never do the                    unnecessary secrifices.
11. Learn and know your opponent's                   rhythm, disrupting it it's crucial.

There are many more principles which are haven't mentioned. But there is the one that I like the most. It's work hard, practice a lot and be discipline.

OATLALI (South African chess game)

OATLALI is a new South African chess,a two player turn based strategy board game, played on a nine-by-nine board. Each player consists of 22 pieces, just like any other chess game it's objective is to checkmate the opponent's king. OATLALI was created in 2019 by Moeketsi Mohlakola, developed by Ndimphiwe Sityata. And it was inspired by other chess games around the world. Games like Shogi, Xaingqi, Janggi, Makruk, Chess ect. And also by other strategy board games like Gomoki, Othello, Hnefatafle Morabaraba and many more.
